Located in the historic Victoria Woolen Mill overlooking
the falls of the Mississippi River, experience an elegant
yet unpretentious dining experience that is well worth
the drive. The maple Dijon hazelnut-encrusted rack of
lamb or the duck confit are just two of the menu choices
that keep diners coming back. After your meal, browse
around the art gallery on the upper level or take a stroll
through this creative town. Reservations are recommended.
Tuesday to Friday lunch, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m.; Saturday and Sunday brunch, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Dinner is served from 6 to 9 p.m. daily. Closed Mondays.

THE IRONWORKS PUB AND RESTAURANT
This family-friendly restaurant is superbly located in a heritage
building on the Mississippi River. A gathering place
that is full of activity with games, music, meetings, parties
and art, it serves top-quality fare, including a table d’hote
on Friday and Saturday nights, as well as above-average
pub grub, including great fish and chips and nachos.
Beer-on-tap comes from Canadian microbreweries and
the wine list is respectable. The weekend à la carte brunch
offers a special crepe and quiche each day, eggs prepared
any way you like and the best eggs benedict you are likely
to taste (made with a delicate, homemade hollandaise
sauce). Open Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. Weekend
brunch starts at 10 a.m. Closed Mondays.
