combined with ink on various types of
paper to experiment with the different
qualities of this very simple material. It
is really the only common factor in
each of these works and, although
there are repetitive shapes and marks,
the content in each is different.

learn about a new bug each week —
where they live, what they eat and

Every teddy bear that’s been good is
sure of a treat at the 25th annual
CHILDRENS’ HOSPITAL OF EAST-
ERN ONTARIO FOUNDATION
Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Rideau Hall.
Gorge yourself at the celebrity pancake
breakfast ($3 for adults and $2
for children). The day will feature
continuous entertainment, rides, a
petting zoo, games and the BASH
(Bear Ambulatory Surgical Hospital)
tent. Build-a-Buddy is an activity
where you make your own bear,
including stuffing, dressing and naming
it for a fee of $12. Admission to
the picnic is free. CHEO and the
Foundation want to say thank you to a
supportive community.
