through the years
It’s easy to get to know your Guardian pharmacist in the
New Edinburgh Pharmacy at 5 Beechwood Avenue.
Owner / pharmacist Frank Tonon spends most of his time
talking to customers during the day. He answers questions,
assists in selecting health care products and provides
private consultations, when necessary. Three other
professional pharmacists are also available to assist you.
“We’ve really built our business on customer service
through the years,” Frank explains. This Guardian Drugs
location – one of 170 across Canada – has been in New
Edinburgh for over 20 years. The new store at the end of
the Vanier Parkway (old Mountain Equipment) has been
open for several years. A tried and true corner drugstore,
it serves New Edinburgh, Vanier, Manor Park, Lindenlea
and Rockcliffe.
The pharmacy provides daily home delivery, complete
postal services and a variety of home health care
products, from canes and walkers to first aid supplies. A
community oriented drugstore, it also acts as a drop-off
depot for the Guardian Angel Program, which provides
knitted blankets and garments for premature babies.
The new location offers a larger selection of all merchandise,
including homeopathic products and nutritional
supplements, but one thing won’t change here; friendly
personal service.
