Six Nations
Along the banks of the Grand River rests Six Nations
– a cultural treasure nestled between the communities
of Caledonia and Brantford. This destination represents
the most populous reserve in Canada, yet the
bourgeoning community is still peacefully lush with
Carolinian forests and meadows. Visitors can expect
exciting events with each changing season, but if

The Grand River Champion of Champions Powwow
is set for July 26 & 27 2008. This event boasts a
lively display of colourful regalia, fancy footwork,
and music as dancers perform for judges and
crowds that sometimes total in the thousands! For

(home of E. Pauline Johnson) holds its award winning
At Husking Time, a women’s conference which
teaches an Indigenous perspective to healing &
wellness. Concurrent workshops teach a range of
subjects from craftwork, meditation, Indigenous
