Hot Flush Clinical Research Study
Many women during/after the menopausal age experience
hot flushes.
Hot flushes are sudden sensations of heat that are particularly
marked in the head, neck, upper chest and back and may be
accompanied by sweating, flushing, palpitations, anxiety and
insomnia.
If you suffer from hot flushes you may be eligible to participate
in an international clinical research study.
You may qualify for this study if you are:
• > – 45 years of age
• Naturally postmenopausal (ie: no menstrual bleeding for
at least 6 months) or
• Surgically postmenopausal (removal of ovaries)
• Experiencing hot flushes
All participants who qualify for the study will receive confidential
medical examinations, blood tests and study medication.
