From July 9 to July 26, the Firehall
showcases the Four Horsemen Project - a
dance-theatre extravaganza by Toronto’s
Ross Manson and Kate Alton. In the
1970s, the Four Horsemen, four Canadian
“sound poets”, turned the literary world on
its ear, so Manson and Alton have created
this playful tribute.
From July 29 to August 2, Rick Miller
brings his one man multi-media show
Bigger Than Jesus to the Firehall Theatre.
An intelligent, provocative production,
Bigger Than Jesus will leave you plenty to
talk about after the show. Susan Coyne’s
Kingfisher Days is on stage at the Firehall
Theatre August 6 to September 13. This
engaging play tells the true story of a summer
at Coyne’s family cottage.
