Free Trolley in Alexandria
If you’re visiting historic
Alexandria, Virginia, watch for the
colourful new King Street Trolley,
which runs along King Street from
the Potomac River waterfront to the
King Street Metro station from 10
a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. With frequent
stops for hopping on and off to
check out the shops, restaurants
and attractions found along
Alexandria’s lovely main street, it’s
an easy (and free) way to explore
the Old Town. For information,

Gluten-Free Travel
If you’re trying to avoid gluten
in your diet, perhaps because of a
celiac disease diagnosis, you know it
can be challenging to travel comfortably.
Hilary Davidson, a travel
writer who’s written for a wide variety
of Canadian magazines, is trying
to make this easier for you: she’s
started a Gluten-Free Guidebook
blog, available free at
www.GlutenFreeGuidebook.com,
where she posts reviews of restaurants,
B&Bs, shops and other places
that she’s found while travelling in
South America, Europe and North
America.
