Georgian Bay Country E xplore Ontario
Canada’s largest fresh water archipelago awaits you in
Georgian Bay Country. Access to this spectacular destination
has recently been improved by a four-lane
highway just one and a half hours north of Toronto.
The region is comprised of the quaint towns and villages
along the shoreline from Port Severn to
Killarney, including the inland municipalities of West
Parry Sound.
Designated a UNESCO World Biosphere
Reserve, the region is a nature lover’s paradise with
six provincial parks, hundreds of lakes and rivers and
plenty of outfitters to guide you into the wild. A highlight

plane with a stop for a fish fry on an island. Cruise
through the 30,000 Islands on the Island Queen
Cruise or, for an exciting adventure, explore the region
by kayak or ATV.
